Dame Vera Lynn  We'll Meet Again   Options (direct from the movie Dr. Strangelove)  (no label)  Haunting.

If it sounds familiar, you might remember it from the end of the movie Dr. Strangelove: because that's where I taped it from. And it took a lot of doing: it basically proved impossible to find this version on CD, at least as far as I could tell.

I think of this piece this way: I've read there were 2 iconic people who helped Britain make it through the war (World War 2, that is): Churchill, and Vera Lynn - before she became a Dame.

This is the only version of the song that "sends me".  		***
