I enjoy working remotely one day per week. I could manage two days. But I really like being onsite. It's too bad that the options up for negotiation now pertain to days away from the workplace, rather than to compensation, insurance coverage, and other more solid kinds of compensation.

it doesn't matter if I go to bed at 10 and wake at 6, my brain is useless until 11am no matter what time zone I'm in,,, I stopped fighting it, so, as long as I get enough sleep (which I can do now school s over), I just sleep until 8 now, and still get plenty of work done..

I deliberately do not WFH on Fridays, because everybody else wants to do it. Frankly, it puzzles me when smart people make lifestyle decisions based on social conventions like weekends.

Bagatelles are tiny works, trifles, insignificant... Beethoven broke that mold, and it seems Zorn is on board with him.

depends on your work. I've had a job where there was no questions asked, so as long as the job was done. Since, I rarely had to interact w/ others, I could arrange my time as I saw fit... it was nice (but I tend to overwork myself in said situations).
