Last time I was in Pasadena, @HS, I think that fact struck me, but I've always considered it SM. Many years ago I used to visit Pasadena to shop at Gross National Product (GNP), a stereo store on Colorado operated by Bill Gross, a Cal Tech grad into electronics. The engineering students had an annual contest to see who could design and build the most outrageously loud gear. Gross designed speakers, the Valhalla, that apparently rocked the dorms.

Was it a lemon cream sauce? I have an incredible recipe for that. It's far too rich to enjoy often, but really amazing. Flavor profile is reminiscent of a richly tart lemon ice cream, but hot and on linguini. Oh my.

Yes, a cream sauce, but the ratio of lemon and lemon zest to actual cream was a miracle. It just tasted like eating lemons and pasta. Unforgettable.
