	12:25pm 0_o: Aw Ms Wing it's so sad. "Business suffered during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Grand Prospect Hall closed in March 2020. Two months later, on May 6, Michael Halkias died at the age of 82 due to complications from COVID-19. In June 2020, the building was sold, along with eleven other adjacent properties, to contractor Angelo Rigas for $30 million." There's more info in wikipedia but long story short despite a petition and an injunction the demolition was finished last year.

I guess they were quite popular since they made a musical out of it. George Herriman, the comic artist who created Krazy Kat, illustrated the poems and maybe designed the sets and such for the musical? Nice to hear this funny stuff. Carol Channing is super!
