I've never been a Cowboys fan either. I grew up in Houston and was therefore an Oilers fan as a kid. I root for the Texans or the Saints now. Don't really follow football anymore. So, that's all I have to say about this subject. Haha

I have a kid in my class this semester --- a huge, but very shy football player from Houston. We got into a discussion about Houston football and said he'd heard his parents talking about the Oilers, but didn't know anything about them. I sent him links to Earl Campbell highlight videos and came to the next class with the biggest smile. He couldn't not believe a) How great Campbell was and b) How totally jacked for football Houston was during the "luv ya blue" glory days.

I was a Mets fan until they traded Tom Seaver!!! Became an Angels fan then 'cause I was in LA and could follow them and preferred the Angels to the Dodgers...although my Dad was a big Brooklyn Dodger fan.

Luckily they've gone back to these great unis. My favorite NFL team of all time was the 1980 Air Coryell team that won the epic in Miami and then lost in the Ice Bowl the next week to the Bengals. Fouts, Joiner, Winslow, Muncie, Chandler. What an offense!
