There is a huge US Post Office on a cliff in the middle of Port Townsend. A few towns were told they may qualify to be the State Capital and Port Townsend prepped the cliff top for the Capitol. They got dissed when Olympia got it so they built a fucking Post Office that can be seen for miles out in The Sound.
