Every time I see a fox, it's a big deal to me, because they're so shy and cute. Seen one a few times this winter in the park. They are always too fast for me to catch a picture.

Loved to work that grinder...

And re: bogs, there are bogs called Kettle Bogs in Ohio which are very valuable and rare habitats. I hiked them a little as a youth, and saw Pitcher Plants , cranberries, and blueberries. They were standing water left over from the glacier days. They're shallow but they're still around to this day

a few years bag a little female fox kept crossing the road to the field across from my house. one day i saw a swarm of flies in the air and investigated and the poor thing had been hit by a car and made it deep into my yard to die. she was gorgeous, look like she had just gone to sleep, not a mark on her. also found a coopers hawk dead in my driveway, also hit by a car, also not a mark on him.
