I remember in 1996, I saw a flyer for Suzanne Ciani performing in Gainesville. I'd never heard of her, and the tix were pricey for a uni student, being that they were at the performing arts center. So, i missed it, and have been kicking myself ever since, since I've still never seen her live....

Suzanne Ciani performed live on WFMU just a few hours before I did my first-ever show on the station. It was Sunday evening, February 1, 1988. She was a guest on Richard Ginsburg's Synthetic Pleasure program. Richard was on two shows before me ending at midnight. Dan "the immigrant" Behrman was on until 3am, and then I was on until 6:30am Monday morning. I got to the station early and Suzanne was set up with her rig in the hallway outside the DJ booth.
