The best part of my Halloween was getting into an argument w a 10-year-old girl over the exact attributes of Loki in Norse mythology. At the end, I recommended she watch The Ring cycle and see if Loge (so called by Wagner) doesn’t burn down Valhalla at the end. It should only take 16 hours, I pointed out. Her parents seemed game.
