Favoriting October 9, 2022: ROXY AROUND THE CLOCK
Sunday, October 9 on "The Funhouse" it's "Roxy Around the Clock," a full-stop hour celebrating the 50th anniversary reunion tour of Roxy Music. The band recently concluded their U.S. leg amid coast to coast raves, and do the strand thing next week in the United Kingdom. Tune in for a collection of live Roxy tracks from all phases of their illustrious career.

I wonder if Mike Sin will be listening. He and Brian Ferry had a falling out. Mike did some session work and when the time came to pay up. Ferry was nowhere to be found. So Sin marches up to Ferry's NYC apartment and before ya know it a scantily clad woman and Ferry start pushing Mike around etc. Real mess as usual.

Have always avoided bothering celebrities in public but some 25 years ago I'm in LA's Irvine Ranch Market and there in the wine section shopping with a cart and his son is Mr. Ferry. couldnt help myself, marched up to him and began slobbering about his greatness to him. graciously he thanked me and waited for me to go away

1. Brian Eno's involvement with the group.
2. "Same Old Scene" was the first track heard in one of my favorite cult movies, "Times Square" (1980).
