Adamdoesit, thanks for asking. She's slowly improving, had fever/aches/chills for 2 days, bad cough and exhaustion since. She went back to work today, long day for her, hopefully she gets through it. We're still masked, we're still healthy.

How much are the tickets Irene?
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 1:47pm
doctorjazz:

Adamdoesit @12:56-I know you're kidding, but I know folks who still won't go out to eat, won't go to movies or concerts. We've gone back to doing that stuff, as cautiously as we can (though we think my daughter may have gotten COVID at any outdoor Simple Plan concert-I was there as well, but avoided infection somehow)
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 1:48pm
Sean in Bristol UK:

Ouch, a tad pricey
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:48pm
adamdoesit:

Having listened to the new Willie album, I concur with Uncle Michael's thesis that it's his farwell. Catch him while you can. (And, no, I won't pay $100 for Summerstage, either… I'm too cheap!)
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 1:49pm
David (in London):

It's a sign of how outrageous ticket prices are these days that for a moment I thought 'Actually that's not too bad.'
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 1:49pm
doctorjazz:

$100-peanuts these days! That show at Town Hall cost me more...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:53pm
adamdoesit:

doc @1:47, yeah. At a certain point, my lovely wife and I felt we needed to go to restaurants, movies, classes, and music to feel alive again. Now we've come out the other side, paying credit card bills and saying, we need to stop eating out!

I've got to get on the bike and head into that steamy hot city now. Wish me luck… or at least a towel. Thanks, Irene!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:08pm
Irene Trudel:

doctorjazz and adamdoesit, you know it. Have to balance between how much we want to go out vs the cost. (Careful with that bike ride!) Sean, I actually decided to skip Porcupine Tree at Radio City because the "affordable" seats were too high up, because we waited too long.

And "hi" Stanley!

I saw Crimson in 2019 at the Royal Albert Hall, and Fripp was obviously in such a good mood that night that he played a bona fide solo. It only lasted about sixty seconds, but it sounded like a star exploding.
