Apparently, next weekend I am going to help a group of indigenous people from Polynesia paddle out to the UN during the General Assembly as part of their efforts to raise awareness about the effects of climate changes on the island countries. I did a similar thing in 2016 to protest how indigenous peoples were left out of the Paris Accords, though that was a much bigger action and involved a pretty high-level cleric casting spells at the UN! Kind of a personal best.

The Coast Guard very leisurely turned its cutter toward us so we could see the guns on the deck. The NYPD, of course, had to provoke and were basically doing doughnuts in the East River with their patrol boat to try to swamp our canoes. Total dick move.

Lovin' these Tongan tunes, DD. Thank you. Recently looked into Earth's island nations, turns out there are ~47. When I looked at the first 90 or so random roads so far, islands made up ~25%. A reasonably accurate random ratio, island nations to non-island. My stop, see you and the rail-riders next time.
