"I listened yesterday. It's no reflection on you but I could'nt see where you were going or what you were going for. This early seventies thing did'nt get noticed the first time and you talk about friends of like Dealney and Bonnie who had records out like we're supposed to remember who they are. Then you play this long winded free jazz stuff that really grates on my nerves. And that noise without a beat and sounds like someones being pinched. Then you play a reggae song, I think you called it Dub, to what, be cool? You seem to really fetishize the whole folk thing too which is obnoxious to us who don't even care. I liked it when you played that punk song though. I like Joe Belock a lot." (Visit homepage.)

I remember first testing out free jazz on a long car ride with my parents when I was a kid - I was like 20 minutes into Coltrane's Ascension with headphones on when my dad asked me why my face looked so uncomfortable. I have since thankfully come around on free jazz, my parents have not.

I missed it too! But somehow remembered reminding myself not to miss it, which I guess is next best?

I am so tired of hearing about swag

I swear if wfmu sells another t-shirt I'll die

What if, instead of an actual jar, it's a drawing of the JAZZ jar that we put on a t-shirt? max does this help?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:50am
Franco Twinkie:

I made a shirt with no compensation except knowing that DJ's would wear it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:50am
chresti:

Max wants more t-shirts
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 11:50am

They left three shirts out of my swag delivery

Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 11:51am

v. excited about those three shirts
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 11:51am
Handy Haversack:

I'm just spitballing here, but what if the T-shirt was in the JAZZ jar? *And* of the JAZZ jar? Fannypack physics have been mostly theoretical, but I think we are approaching a crucial experimental moment here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:52am
coelacanth∅:

i'd like to see a womens' urinary funnel with a picture on it of a wfmu t-shirt with a picture on it of max using the womens' urinary funnel.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 11:53am
karlward:

Handy that's all fine and good but what happens when we load the jars into the t-shirt cannon? You are playing with fire. Well, glass shards, but you get the drift.

I was going to suggest a WFMU onesie, but then realized most listeners are WAY beyond child bearing age.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 11:54am
Handy Haversack:

What's the point of having all these T-shirt cannons if we're not going to use them to RAISE A LITTLE HELL?!

Outwardly I have been patiently waiting for my swag, but inside I'm fighting my disappointment at the delay. :|
