All right! Glad to join in here just in time for the tribute set. Sounds great! After many years of it being on the market, I finally heard that live record from 1972 (?) featuring a later edition of the Shadows of Knight.

Gene Roddenberry's 'the lieutenant' wasn't a Star Trek episode, it was supposed to be a series about the goings on: on a military base before the creation of star trek. It starred Gary Lockwood of whom which Roddenberry used in the second episode of Star Trek after the short lived series 'the lieutenant' failed. His character had been killed off because he turned into a super psycho. "Getting back to the point" -That's what David shortell was talking about, an episode from the show 'the lieutenant' that NBC didn't air, not a Star Trek show. and of course Gene Roddenberry knowing Nichelle Nichols from his failed 'the lieutenant' had offered her the role of lieutenant Uhura. she's ironically known as lieutenant Uhura from 'the lieutenant'.

Mushrooms: I always pan brown them first..no oil or butter..Gets the water content out of them.
Once browned, add a little of either oil or garlic butter..then put on the pizza (or anything else).

Improves the flavor of the shrooms immensely..nuttier flavor, not rubbery in texture.
Once I learned that trick, it's the only way I'll cook with shrooms
