@Dave wuz here Salado, TX circa 1976. My brother ate a huge basket full of hush puppies, topped with a couple of banana fritters. On the drive home to Killeen, all those fried morsels came up in the back of the Plymouth Valiant. I remember being fascinated by the maraschino cherries from the fritters; they were still perfectly intact.

OF glass, muddle 4-6 berries in .25 oz. Luxardo. Add 2 oz. light rum, 1 oz. Suze, 1 oz. lemon juice. Ice to 1/2" from rim, top with soda. Garnish with 4-6 more berries. I have subbed in blueberries with peach garnish and even subbed gin and .5 oz. Campari for the boozegredients.
