	2:08pm annie: my assessment is that my laptop is on its last breath. i appreciate your offers of help.. to quote an old man who came to the house to tune our box piano, "perhaps it's the tuning pin" ( even in our middle ages, we kids STILL get a kick out of repeating that. ) to be honest this is the first time i've haven't tried FMU up to now. and, it's a Samsung, i'm an absolute luddite. one of my neighbors is helping me this week. thank god-dess for, RadioTune-in to be precise. it's funny i miss the birdsong mostly.

BTW, that bird was real. It was a really windy, chilly day at Muir Beach in Marin. I think it kept its feathers ruffled to keep warm.

BTW, that bird was real. It was a really windy, chilly day at Muir Beach in Marin. I think it kept its feathers ruffled to keep warm.
