His recent illness is still obvious in its effects but, like the flaw in the diamond, for me it only served to highlight how incredible he really is. Like Davy Graham, he's got so much music inside him that it's almost unbelievable. And he not only plays them, he narrates their provenance as well, stretching back to the Peninsula Wars and beyond.

We are very lucky.A DJ at the community station in Asheville where I volunteer dedicated part of his show to Bryce last night and mentioned the gofundme, so hopefully there will be some more support from the AVL community as well (remote as we are, we're still abreast of current events).

His recent illness is still obvious in its effects but, like the flaw in the diamond, for me it only served to highlight how incredible he really is. Like Davy Graham, he's got so much music inside him that it's almost unbelievable. And he not only plays them, he narrates their provenance as well, stretching back to the Peninsula Wars and beyond.
