	♥ 8:29am Brainiac from Neuron 3: Bob was born at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. At age five he moved with his family to Ann Arbor. Seger's career began fronting a three-piece band called the Decibels. The band members all attended Ann Arbor High. The Decibels recorded an acetate demo of a song called "The Lonely One", at Del Shannon's studio in 1961. It was Seger's first song to be played on the radio, airing once on an A2 radio station. After the Decibels disbanded, Seger joined the Town Criers, a four-piece band with Seger on lead vocals. Next came Doug Brown & the Omens, with Seger doing some of the vocals and playing keyboards. In '66 he released East Side Story, his first hit single, recorded as Bob Seger & the Last Heard. In '68 his band became the Bob Seger System, named as such by Capital Records apparently. After the System disbanded Bob performed briefly solo. Then came STK with Teegarden and Van Winkle. Seger toured in early 1972 with a Michigan group called Julia, led by Blue Mueller. Also, Bob performed as My Band-The Borneo Band. After working with the Muscle Shoals Band Seger formed the Silver Bullet Band in 1974. Extensive touring and a hit album, Live Bullet, in 1976 put Bob and the band in the national spotlight. Since then, there has been no 'lookin back'. Bob has sold, worldwide, more than 100 million records. In 2004 Seger was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. May 6th the legendary Michigan artist is 77 years old.

	♥ 8:29am Brainiac from Neuron 3: Bob was born at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. At age five he moved with his family to Ann Arbor. Seger's career began fronting a three-piece band called the Decibels. The band members all attended Ann Arbor High. The Decibels recorded an acetate demo of a song called "The Lonely One", at Del Shannon's studio in 1961. It was Seger's first song to be played on the radio, airing once on an A2 radio station. After the Decibels disbanded, Seger joined the Town Criers, a four-piece band with Seger on lead vocals. Next came Doug Brown & the Omens, with Seger doing some of the vocals and playing keyboards. In '66 he released East Side Story, his first hit single, recorded as Bob Seger & the Last Heard. In '68 his band became the Bob Seger System, named as such by Capital Records apparently. After the System disbanded Bob performed briefly solo. Then came STK with Teegarden and Van Winkle. Seger toured in early 1972 with a Michigan group called Julia, led by Blue Mueller. Also, Bob performed as My Band-The Borneo Band. After working with the Muscle Shoals Band Seger formed the Silver Bullet Band in 1974. Extensive touring and a hit album, Live Bullet, in 1976 put Bob and the band in the national spotlight. Since then, there has been no 'lookin back'. Bob has sold, worldwide, more than 100 million records. In 2004 Seger was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. May 6th the legendary Michigan artist is 77 years old.
