This is where all of culture and all of time are collapsed into one seductive portal and viewed through the panoramic lens of the exotic. Come and embark on an armchair-travel virtual-voyage to the heart of timeless darkness and beyond; embrace the numinous monolith of the exotic immensity. Let us find that place where hybridization meets its destiny as pure fantasy. Let us become observers observing those others who are ourselves. You wear your mask and I'll wear mine.

I hadn't either, I'll double check, but I'm pretty sure it's on that Mosaic box I mentioned (I had always wondered before that why there was a v1 without a v2. But then again, Threadgill had a Sextette with 7 players, so he liked to play with that kind of stuff)

This piece is translated in the accompanying booklet, how I wish we could peruse it together. I love how intense and trippy these visionary works are, the language so saturated with imagery and passion. Here's the final stanza:

"Let all the Heavens hear this!
and let them praise the lamb of God
with the celestial harmony!
for the throat of the Ancient Serpent
has been choked with these pearls
made of the word of God"
Avatar 9:25pm
Flash Strap:

for this one:
"O sublime and unpolluted vessel,
not drained
in the dance in the old cave
and not running
with sores inflicted by the Ancient Enemy....
what a pure vessel you are"
