I was in Jersey City three times last week between Marathon and catching a show. Our weekend plans seem so tame this week. Queens? I mean, sure, but it's on the same island already!

Becky -- the first Monday, I supplemented the food with baked ziti just for the DJs and MCs (Joe B, Todd, Olivia, Darren) that I made. I also brought whisky, beer, and dog treats on the various trips. I didn't have the carrying capacity to bring a full meal for everyone, but I felt bad about that so brought what I could carry.

My old friend Darwin, who used to have a classic hillbilly show on WHVW in Poughkeepsie called asking if I wanted cassettes of his old show. Seems a longtime friend and listener had passed and she left behind some tapes. I said sure, as he did a lot of cool interviews and it was a great show. Well, I got home a little while ago...I thought it would be a box or two but I got half a panel van load of cassettes! She taped every week for twenty years.
