So apparently the American Academy of Sleep Medicine says we should make Standard Time permanent instead of Daylight Time which is what was proposed by the Senate. Clearly the AASM is packed full of completely untrustworthy morning people. We night owls want that extra summer hour of light until 8:30 p.m. staying where it is, not getting shifted to 4 a.m.

Ozzie, my pooch, had a doggie bed with a cushion we bought him, thought it would be comfortable in it. For months he avoided it like the plague; we'd try putting him in it so he'd saw it was comfortable, and he'd spring up in a panic. Then one day, for no reason we could see, he decided he liked it after all, even considers it his safe space. (Generally,if we walk near him, he'll jump up and get away, avoid being accidentally stepped on, I figure). He doesn't move oh he's in his bed). Go figure...

I remember Ovaltine being pretty bad as well-it's chocolate powder, no? Bosco or Hershey's Chocolate syrup had to be the flavoring for chocolate milk (or, yum, a chocolate egg cream).

Never had Ovaltine! But I definitely remember Five Alive and Tang. Just orange-flavored stuff full of sugar, right? I also really liked Magic Shell, the syrup in the 80s that would harden after you put it on ice cream. No idea why, doesn't seem special now.
