	⚡ 4:55am Don in Tampere: Thanks for the wishes. I think the riskiest part of the trip is the train from Tampere to Helsinki, since almost no one wears masks here. Germany has a nominally higher infection rate but I think that's because they test more, plus they are still requiring FFP2 masks on public transit and at the trade fair. As for the other danger on everyone's mind, I don't think anything is likely to happen along the flight path. What would happen in Finland joins NATO is another question, but If Russia can't manage to progress in Ukraine, I think dealing with a 1300 km border would be tough. Support for NATO is over 60% here, but I fear it could be a devil's bargain, especially since the Orange Turd could end up being President again.

	⚡ 4:55am Don in Tampere: Thanks for the wishes. I think the riskiest part of the trip is the train from Tampere to Helsinki, since almost no one wears masks here. Germany has a nominally higher infection rate but I think that's because they test more, plus they are still requiring FFP2 masks on public transit and at the trade fair. As for the other danger on everyone's mind, I don't think anything is likely to happen along the flight path. What would happen in Finland joins NATO is another question, but If Russia can't manage to progress in Ukraine, I think dealing with a 1300 km border would be tough. Support for NATO is over 60% here, but I fear it could be a devil's bargain, especially since the Orange Turd could end up being President again.
