@ Pasquale, Andy was asked how many FREQUENCIES, and initially was cheated, but I think they fixed that a few minutes later. It's 4 transmitters but only 3 frequencies because both the Rockland and NYC low-powereds are on 91.9. They do have their own call signs, though.

No matter what they say, I think Andy makes up in donations an additional amount over what they kid about on the show, so it's not like he's really being cheated.

I'd love to know how much storage the archives are taking up.

And I have all the streams on Sonos thru TuneIn. Works seamlessly, really. and the app and apple carplay are a godsend way out in western jerz.

By the way, I pledge thru the mail because my pledge is for the entire station. Too many good programs!

Haven’t had a chance to tune in, will catch the archive later, but how is 91.9 NYC doing? Getting enough listeners to be worthwhile?

rx scabin:

They should both do a talk show.

The State of the Station is one archive program I always make time to listen to -- nice to catch a little of it live. Will review later ... at some point! Hard to turn off the station long enough to listen to an archive!

Have a good rest of your Sunday, everyone.

Thanks, Ken, Olivia!

Any thoughts or comments on "Sex and Broadcasting" and is there continued documentation happening behind the scenes of all things WFMU? (DJ's, management, Live performances, etc)

@KramerOG Nothing wrong with pledging through the mail, but just want to mention that there is an "all of WFMU" option on the online pledge page for folks who just can't choose individual shows. Thanks for your support!

Considering the epic Sony fire - in which after decades of predatory acquisitions of other record labels - Sony then had conditions in which a huge catastrophic fire *destroying* many major & important & historical Artists' original Masters occurred...
