	♥ 12:21pm Handy Haversack: And of relevance today of all days, I just started doing production editing work on a forthcoming book about radio on the Subcontintent before and after Partition and the trans- and supernational effects it had even when supposedly used for nationalistic purposes. There's sort of the legacy of Hindustan and Hindustani in play against colonially aggravated sectarian divisions. It looks really cool. One chapter is about a station near the India-Pakistan border that after Partition would have the DJs give dramatic readings of letters from listeners on either side. Sounds like some amazing archival stuff there, though I would not understand it.

	♥ 12:21pm Handy Haversack: And of relevance today of all days, I just started doing production editing work on a forthcoming book about radio on the Subcontintent before and after Partition and the trans- and supernational effects it had even when supposedly used for nationalistic purposes. There's sort of the legacy of Hindustan and Hindustani in play against colonially aggravated sectarian divisions. It looks really cool. One chapter is about a station near the India-Pakistan border that after Partition would have the DJs give dramatic readings of letters from listeners on either side. Sounds like some amazing archival stuff there, though I would not understand it.
