Killing Joke is, in my opinion, the most perfect single shot comic in existence. Alan Moore understands RHYTHM like no other.

And the JOKE! The joke at the end is a metaphor for the entire Joker / Batman relationship, AND is mirrored in the first and last panels of the comic. It's fucking perfection.
