re:^ magnesium is a muscle relaxer so there's really no way it couldn't help. and most likely you need more anyway.
i've tried a drug, i don't know if it was trazadone but probably. it worked beautifully the first night. i took it again 3-4 nights later and it did absolutely nothing.
tried it again a few months later and again a year or 2 later...nothing.
melotonin usually helps at least a little.
valerian root, skullcap, melissa, niacinamide, tryptophan... magnesium and niacinamide are the most important of all.

( but really i think the best thing one can do to get a better sleep is at least an hour of (primarily aerobic) exercise/day; anxiety management; no caffeine, or none after a certain time (which is different for everyone); no sweets in the evening; no food allergens in the evening... )
