He would march around in full dress with all the other instruments, and there was another dude marching behind him, also in full costume, pushing a wheelbarrow containing an amp and a car battery. It was very metal.

I lived down the block from Steve Kaufman as a kid, an astonishingly amazing picker who went on to be national flatpick champion for about 5 years in a row - till they kicked him out and made him a judge. He recorded with Vassar a couple times.

He would march around in full dress with all the other instruments, and there was another dude marching behind him, also in full costume, pushing a wheelbarrow containing an amp and a car battery. It was very metal.

I lived down the block from Steve Kaufman as a kid, an astonishingly amazing picker who went on to be national flatpick champion for about 5 years in a row - till they kicked him out and made him a judge.
