I think it'd be fun to do a show of 'crooner or ez Northern Soul' - I'm a sucker for that stuff. Paul Anka, Boots Randolph, Al Hirt, Neil Sedaka ... etc. The 45s by those type of artists that found their way to the Northern scene.

Had to lower the volume briefly as I can’t stand Lulu. Richard Searle of Corduroy and Doctor & The Medics prior has a radio show and used to have to segment called stick or twist where the listeners decided whether an artist played would be played again the following week. Lulu lasted 10 weeks long and by the end I had had more than enough.
