For some reason I don't care as much for the later albums even though they're great. Magical Mystery Tour is the dividing line. The White Album and Abbey Road are awe-inspiring but I don't respond as emotionally as I do to, say, Beatles for Sale or Revolver.

George's harmonies all over that LP really make one think of The Beatles. He's singing lead but also doing very George Beatle harmony parts all over the L.P., plus he went back to a vintage George guitar sound, not as much slide as he did mid-'70s when he went overboard being influenced by Ry Cooder... which was fine but it wasn't Jangle George... LIKE THIS!!!

I highly recommend that Paul doc on Hulu if you didn’t see it, CAD. Rick Rubin interviews him at the board and they listen to a lot of the songs raw or with other choices. He’s a real fan and he talk about his bass playing, songwriting and so much more.

yeh, the one disc Eight Days is ...ok, I guess. Too much Whoopi and not enough show footage. I saw that in a theater with the Shea doc right after and Shea was better and more exciting.
