Very special that Sinterklaas hung in there. He's arriving from Spain to The Netherlands every year according to tradition. He brings presents to children who were good in the past year.
According to history he was born in Myra, Turkey and he's also revered in the orthodox Christian world. Known as patron saint of travelers.
