Parvardigar (def??? source may/may not be reliable - sounds accurate??)
Parvardegār or Parwardigār (پروردگار; Persian pronunciation: [pærˌværdeˈgɒːr], Hindustani pronunciation: [ˌpərʋərd̪ɪˈgɑːr]) is an appellation or title for God in the Persian language. Its literal meaning is sustainer, a name metaphorically and attributively used for Khuda or God. The word has Persian roots and comes from parva- meaning to foster, cherish, to nurture, to develop/care for. Digar, when applied in this sense, means "again and again." Thus Parvardigar means "to care again and
again."

I translated the Italian lyrics back into english:
Lyrics
Back to the sea where I dreamed with you
And it seems to be saying hello to me
Bye Bye!
I still see the old friends I have
And they greet me
Bye Bye!
And on the clear beach nothing has changed
Under the hot sun I look for you among the people
I know you're there
Here you saw me, and you
You come running towards me
And you're smiling at me
Bye Bye! I cry calling you
Bye Bye! Love hug me
Bye Bye! I came back to you
Bye Bye!
You don't know how anxiously I waited
To see you again
Bye Bye!
Now I never want to lose you
Not even a moment
Bye Bye!
Summer kisses will become easy
We will spend a hundred hours together in love
But then it will come
The day that I leave
You will come to the station
The hand you shake
Bye Bye! I am about to cry
Bye Bye! The train goes I cry
Bye Bye! Do not forget me
Bye Bye!
Instrumental (you don't know)
Bye Bye!
Instrumental (now of you not)
Bye Bye!
Summer kisses will become easy
We will spend a hundred hours together in love
But then it will come
The day that I leave
You will come to the station
The hand you shake
Bye Bye! I am about to cry
Bye Bye! The train goes I cry
Bye Bye! Do not forget me

One thing I miss terribly about NYC was its quality that would result in things like the opportunity to see James Chance and Lydia Lunch on a bill together, for free, at a community garden on E 9th St, which in my case was two blocks from home.

Stanley: an important difference between Boy George and David Bowie is Boy George is 100% queer and David Bowie identified as "a closet heterosexual."

SOAPBOX MOMENT: As a queer person, I object to Bowie's appropriation and exploitation of queer culture and then using "closeted" to describe his orientation, when the only personal threat he faced by "coming out" was… maybe losing some record sales? Probably not. OK, done.
