Jeff Ash:

Good afternoon from Wisconsin. Arriving for the second set. Quick Tim Hardin story. Friend went to Woodstock with sister and friends when he was 17. They found themselves a million miles from the stage, way up on top of the hill, barely able to hear anything. Only thing they heard was part of Tim Hardin's set late Friday night. Then they said screw this and left for home the next morning.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 3:41pm
Brian in UK:

You have to wonder how much joy was in his life.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42pm

tranewreck:

Love the covers but for me Tim does Tim best.

Saw him perform twice- and both times he struggled through the short set
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 3:42pm
Funky16Corners:

@Jeff - I'll bet if people are being honest, there are a lot of similar Woodstock stories
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 3:43pm
Funky16Corners:

Hey tranewreck! I suspect that was true for most of the later part of his career
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 3:43pm
Funky16Corners:

It's kind of amazing how short and to the point most of his original versions are
  3:47pm
CalZone!:

Red Balloon is my fave TH song. I discovered through the Small Faces...
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 3:47pm

Wow tranewreck, hope his struggling didn't totally ruin your experience of getting to see Hardin.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:07pm
Mike Sin:

That Verve "Best of Tim Hardin" comp from the early '70s was a bargain bin staple for decades. There's a hell of a lot of bang for the buck on that one!
  4:07pm
tranewreck:

@WR. It was THE experience- not in any way ruined- but Tim Hardin in sharp relief.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 4:08pm
Funky16Corners:

This song was originally recorded by Hardin under the title 'While You're On Your Way'
