Mulligan sounds to be more of a "researcher" than a conspiracy theorist. Though their importance may be a bit overblown, Skull+Bones and the various connections he explores (between the national security establishment and secret societies, nazi symps and going back far enough, yes, the opium trade) really are quite weird and do have relevance.
