Few hours more to Chicago, then onto the next train for Austin, Texas. Been fun picking up radio stations along the way with my HD Radio, but it's also really groovy to be able to join everyone with some streaming on the go!

If you try to race and beat a train, you will lose. Anyone in that car that got hit is probably dead. Freight trains are long, but trying to beat one to save a few minutes is absolutely NOT worth a life or lives.

Was one of those times where I checked on the comments board, saw I had something relevant to say, and then went back to doing something else for like 40 minutes. Rough news with your health, but I'm optimistic you'll be mostly alright. That's still no fun. Keep us updated.

	♥ 8:21am Rosey is Listening on WFMU.org: Yep, Doug in JC. All basic see tracks, think train type of stuff. Trains can be very dangerous when you're not on one. Especially deadly if combined with exhaustion. I went to Breakneck Ridge Hudson line stop to come back from hiking a few years ago. I was so tired that I looked at the sign that said to not sit on the little platform (it's a very barebones station) but didn't process it. I saw a place to sit and desperately needed the rest. I snapped a picture of an oncoming train, basically right at the moment that I realized it would hit my legs or worse. I rolled back and tucked in my legs, held onto my dog for dear life while screaming for him to not move. I felt my feet bounce off the outside of the train. I so easily could have been seriously injured or killed.

As much as I'd love a buzz, I really need it for my stomach. I get pretty anxious about my stomach when I'm without cannabis. I got an hour of sleep this morning because my stomach bothered me.

Few hours more to Chicago, then onto the next train for Austin, Texas. Been fun picking up radio stations along the way with my HD Radio, but it's also really groovy to be able to join everyone with some streaming on the go!

If you try to race and beat a train, you will lose. Anyone in that car that got hit is probably dead. Freight trains are long, but trying to beat one to save a few minutes is absolutely NOT worth a life or lives.

Especially deadly if combined with exhaustion. I went to Breakneck Ridge Hudson line stop to come back from hiking a few years ago. I was so tired that I looked at the sign that said to not sit on the little platform (it's a very barebones station) but didn't process it. I saw a place to sit and desperately needed the rest. I snapped a picture of an oncoming train, basically right at the moment that I realized it would hit my legs or worse. I rolled back and tucked in my legs, held onto my dog for dear life while screaming for him to not move. I felt my feet bounce off the outside of the train. I so easily could have been seriously injured or killed.
