	1:12pm Jeff: I think Stills has often been overshadowed by that guy from Canada. In my opinion, Stephen was a better guitar player and singer, but I’d give the edge to Neil as a songwriter. But, hands down, if I had the chance, I’d hang with Stills any day. Neil? No way

	1:24pm Listener Robert: Thanks, Mr. Brainen. When I say "sounds like", that doesn't mean I think it IS. In fact the student version was much more recent. There's like almost a minute's difference between slower and faster versions, and the fast ones must be really hard to play!
	1:24pm Bob Brainen: Denny, we should collaborate again. How about a show with all the drummers who fit the bill but aren't mentioned enough. Some weren't flashy, some were understated. I'm thinking Dewey, Joe Butler, Joe Bauer (former Jazz drummer) etc!

	1:26pm Jeff: Ross T - I love that first Manassas album! I was in my dorm room at SUNY New Paltz the day it was released, and the DJ on the radio played all four sides. Immediately loved it and have loved it ever since.

	1:28pm Bob Brainen: wmfromdumont, I've had 2 great drummers rave about Michael Clarke's hit-hat work, Richard X. Heyman is one, I forget the other, but Terry Adams is another big fan. These guys make me listen harder!
	1:32pm Listener Robert: Which reminds me: My friend's TV show "Lost" parodied (or at least referenced) Alfred Hitchcock's being shut out of the bus. "Lost" was full of other visual "checks" of movies and TV shows -- and they're all clues to the plot.

	1:36pm Listener Robert: That particular shot was one of several parodies of Hitchcock cameos on "Lost". In each case, it's a clue that the character shown in that role is a "director" -- i.e. someone directing or trying to direct the action.

	1:41pm Bob Brainen: doctor jazz, I'm not a real analytical listener, to be honest. I'm actually taking it from the Complete Prestige Dolphy box. And yeah, the compression and maybe other stuff the station adds makes everything sound better!

	1:12pm Jeff: I think Stills has often been overshadowed by that guy from Canada. In my opinion, Stephen was a better guitar player and singer, but I’d give the edge to Neil as a songwriter. But, hands down, if I had the chance, I’d hang with Stills any day. Neil? No way

	1:24pm Listener Robert: Thanks, Mr. Brainen. When I say "sounds like", that doesn't mean I think it IS. In fact the student version was much more recent. There's like almost a minute's difference between slower and faster versions, and the fast ones must be really hard to play!
	1:24pm Bob Brainen: Denny, we should collaborate again. How about a show with all the drummers who fit the bill but aren't mentioned enough. Some weren't flashy, some were understated. I'm thinking Dewey, Joe Butler, Joe Bauer (former Jazz drummer) etc!

	1:26pm Jeff: Ross T - I love that first Manassas album! I was in my dorm room at SUNY New Paltz the day it was released, and the DJ on the radio played all four sides. Immediately loved it and have loved it ever since.

	1:28pm Bob Brainen: wmfromdumont, I've had 2 great drummers rave about Michael Clarke's hit-hat work, Richard X. Heyman is one, I forget the other, but Terry Adams is another big fan. These guys make me listen harder!
	1:32pm Listener Robert: Which reminds me: My friend's TV show "Lost" parodied (or at least referenced) Alfred Hitchcock's being shut out of the bus. "Lost" was full of other visual "checks" of movies and TV shows -- and they're all clues to the plot.

	1:36pm Listener Robert: That particular shot was one of several parodies of Hitchcock cameos on "Lost". In each case, it's a clue that the character shown in that role is a "director" -- i.e. someone directing or trying to direct the action.

	1:41pm Bob Brainen: doctor jazz, I'm not a real analytical listener, to be honest. I'm actually taking it from the Complete Prestige Dolphy box. And yeah, the compression and maybe other stuff the station adds makes everything sound better!
