A little back story for this show idea which was more difficult than I thought to pull together, without it sounding like an hour long story telling session.
I had a huge family growing up, my Grandfather was one of eight kids.
My Dad was also one of eight kids, so there were always a ton of family at gatherings. My Dad and his brothers along with my great uncles were big into music and records. And they always controlled the music, ALWAYS!
Summertime meant going to a different relatives house every weekend for a BBQ with lots of beer, food and singing. No beer for us kids obviously : )

medson - I too grew up with 6 siblings - My DAD always had music on in all the rooms, records of all kinds - jazz, big bands.....so, I assume that I got it from him (Richard Whig too).
