	♥ 7:02pm Bronwyn Bishop: Hi everyone, I'm about to talk about a legal thing with WFMU that was resolved after I recorded the show so please ignore it- here's the update: Many thanks to the hundreds of listeners who sent us emails of support in our efforts to keep our real estate tax exemption with Jersey City. We have good news - the city's tax office has reversed their decision and has told us that our exemption will soon be put back into place. We are still collecting all the emails that have already been sent in as support materials until this matter is legally finalized. but no more emails are needed at this time. Thank you to our listeners for coming through for WFMU once again.

Seriously. This is the kind of stuff that makes a difference in legal contexts.

But outside of the blockbusters were all the Altman, Cassavetes, and quirky little films like Scarecrow, and of course blaxpolitation flix with Pam Grier and great soundtracks.
