I was teaching an English class to some adult students in Italy a few days ago and when one of them said she used to make shoes, I was eager to ask her what kind of glue I should use to repair a loose sole I have. Hey Michael, nice note on shoe"goop" made by "eclectic Plastics" they also make the jewelers glue "E6000", shoe goop comes in a number recipes, I tried to talk with one of their chemists to get an MSDS, she gave me a run-a-bout talking nonsense science, now years ago, the variations are a number, I use Marine Goop, which has a UV shield, I used to glue all the springs onto the Springcar, '96-'05, my ID pic. this glue is very flexible and in its last stages finally become porous and crumbles, this after 3 plus years, very effective.
