This Romeo Void song was a bigger hit than the now-better-known Never Say Never, at least on WBCN. I haven't heard it since it was current but it's still imprinted on my brain! Kinda surprised how many lyrics I still remember...

@Fiveash- the song got in there before your brain was clogged up with everything else!

Saw one of them "Bands Reunited" on the ol' MTV about Romeo Void... The sax player got some kinda hearing problem to the extent he couldn't play sax anymore and ended up a cubicle jockey somewhere in the SF bay area. Sad.

Hello, Therese and company!

Charles:

Why doesn't anybody ever talk about people who contracted the virus and got over it and how effective their antibodies are??....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:22pm
chresti:

Love the Girlface Occupation.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:26pm
StringOFperils:

How effective are your antibodies? They DO talk about it. A lot. You have to dig those stories out of all the other ones. That information shifts around, depending on what mutant strain of the virus under the umbrella name C-19 you're looking at. The Brazilian version, which seems worse, has now established itself in British Columbia, and pathologists think that it might (or it has? ) re-infected people who have already recovered...so it's an ongoing disease opera.
  7:28pm
Charles:

Well...SOP... do you think the vaccine protects you any better or gives you longer immunity against the different strains???...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:32pm
StringOFperils:

I think, as with influenza shots, the CDC and other global health experts decide on like the top 5 virus contenders, and that's whet the basic flu shot is all about annually. It's also an opportunistic virus, so it's actually a whole bunch of different diseases, spread over time. SO, I think it'll be one of those once-a-year things you have to set up with your doctor. The WHO etc will get this under control, but it's not going away.
Avatar 7:33pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Whole point of a vaccine is to stimulate your antibodies.
You know what I wish wasn't viral ?
All these counterfactual contrarian trolls who've had their head up the backside of Fox News too long. When half a million plus are dead in the USA - we've isolated & shut down the economy for more than a year - & the only way out (since people won't simply mask & distance) are the vaccines - some of which are up to 95% effective. Then they babble about variants & needing a booster as a reason to not vaxx - when the best way to prevent variants would've been all these nearer including vexing in the first place. You want to be a cool rogue - we get it. Congratulations.
Well - I don't now about anybody else but I'm losing my tolerance for these asshats.

Charles - the previous Admin delayed the vaccines & pretended their was no need for them for the sake of Business As Usual.
Believe me - the great eagerness to go 'Back To Normal' - when that was a rotten mess - disgusts & depresses me more than I can say.
