You won't be disappointed with the Mind Over Matter book. Even if you're not a huge Fortune fan -- yet. It's one of the greatest labors of published love in the history of great American music. I once had the chance to check out the horn Desmond wrote Take Five riff on. Longer story but a guy in Seattle called NPR (the main switchboard!) to let us know he liked a web feature on Miles we did. Mentioned his dad served in WWII with Desmond and when Des died, he gave the guy's dad the horn...
