Aside from the decades of heart-filling radio she has created, her behind-the-scenes technical and engineering expertise has made an incalculable contribution to the WFMU's continued existence. Anyone who has ever loved any part of this great radio station owes Irene a measure of gratitude.

	🥁 ♥ 1:48pm TonyR: A quick tip for anyone daunted by the chore of tagging the rips from your DJ Premium CDs: You can scan an image of the tracklist, open the JPG in Google docs, and it will automatically OCR the artists and titles. Save as Text. Foobar2000 will let you populate fields from a text file separated by new lines, one line per track. Both apps free-free (with the small cost of what happens when you use Google apps.)

	🥁 ♥ 1:48pm TonyR: A quick tip for anyone daunted by the chore of tagging the rips from your DJ Premium CDs: You can scan an image of the tracklist, open the JPG in Google docs, and it will automatically OCR the artists and titles. Save as Text. Foobar2000 will let you populate fields from a text file separated by new lines, one line per track. Both apps free-free (with the small cost of what happens when you use Google apps.)
