Great show as usual, young schmann! A Springfield song I somehow overlooked—amazing. I find those string arrangements on the Young songs a little cloying. Have you seen the interviews with Stills vs. Parks on the origin of the band name?
  10:44am
gf2002:

I hear so many people say the tragedy of Buffalo Springfield is that very little exists on tape of them playing live in their prime, and that's what made them one of the best bands of that whole scene, especially the guitar duels between Stills and Young. I absolutely love that episode of Mannix where the Springfield is playing in the background at a nightclub, and you can hear Stills and Young trading leads on Bluebird, totally different from the studio version.
