Cool, paparay! We saw the Itals perform in Negril, after the show they invited my then-husband and I to smoke with them. About a year later, my husband gave one of them a ride after bumping into him at Trader Joe's in the SFV.

Growing up I thought The Plasmatics were The B-52's. A Jamaican kid living in Queens didn't see too much punk or new wave in my neck of the woods. Later on say 1982, it started to seep into my suburbia. I got sucked in! I did hear the music thanks to WBLS and then WLIR the summer of 1982.
