Upcoming events:

Saturday, June 29th, 11am - 1pm: Donnie and Joe Emerson AND Ian Rustin, co-author of the new book “The Beach Boys in Concert”
Michael welcomes Donnie and Joe Emerson (in town for a June 29th gig at The Mercury Lounge) who'll drop by in person to discuss the recent reissue of their 1979 do-it-yourself classic "Dreamin' Wild". The brothers grew up on a farm in rural Washington State and recorded the album in the home studio their father took a second mortgage to build for them. Their isolated upbringing, limited exposure to mainstream music and lack of formal record production experience led them to produce unique and endearing recordings, which 33 years later sound an odd mixture of dated and timeless. AND Michael chats with Ian Rustin, co-author of the new book “The Beach Boys in Concert”. Written after more than ten years of exhaustive research, the book provides a unique window into the Beach Boys' successes, personal tragedies, inter-band dramas, and globe-trotting, rock-and-roll adventures from 1961 to 2012.

Saturday, August 3rd, 11am - 1pm: Sonny Curtis
Michael welcomes Sonny Curtis back to the show - a member of Buddy Holly's Crickets and the writer of "I Fought The Law", "Walk Right Back", “More Than I Can Say”, "A Fool Never Learns", "Rock Around With Ollie Vee"& The Mary Tyler Moore theme "Love Is All Around"!
