We start in the middle and work our way back to nothing.
Avatar 10/9/13 2:09pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

As a reminder, these collages sound much better with headphones. Good headphones. I have bad headphones today. I am sadder.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10/9/13 2:09pm listener james from westwood:

absolutely true on the headphone count.

Avatar 10/9/13 2:11pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

I want to walk the streets of the earth and hand out better headphones.
Avatar 10/9/13 2:13pm Bliss:

You'd have to give up a lot of other projects to do that.
It would require substantial sacrifices.
Avatar 10/9/13 2:25pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Do you have memories, that you sometimes forget?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10/9/13 2:27pm Rich in Washington:

I have found that with headphones, like wine, once you spend more to get the best you can, you cannot go back.
Avatar 10/9/13 2:27pm Bliss:

Do memories stay there, wherever there is, or do they completely leave and then return?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10/9/13 2:28pm Rich in Washington:

I just put my headphones on. You are right, Kenzo.
Avatar 10/9/13 2:29pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

My headphones, which I've used since 1988, surround my memories.
Avatar 10/9/13 2:32pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

There is the theory that all memories are permanent somewhere inside the brain (or is it Mind?); consider 'memory trips' on psychedelic drugs...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10/9/13 2:38pm Rich in Washington:

My ears are headphone shaped.
Avatar 10/9/13 2:38pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

The trailer for Russian Ark offends me. Cut after cut after cut...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10/9/13 2:39pm Rich in Washington:

My space has been headphone placed.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10/9/13 2:40pm Rich in Washington:

@Bliss: I am even cheaper than that. I bought mine at B&H for less than 50 bucks. I go to their 'used' dept. and when they show up, I buy 'em.
Avatar 10/9/13 2:42pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...seems to me Sonys short out quickly (...maybe my experience is only w/ cheap ones). Would it be so hard to reinforce the cord near the plug & into the earcup ? I only have Bose because they came into the thriftstore I work @, & the older ladies who sort the donations threw them into the dumpster!; presumably because of a bias against electronics (can be a liability in second-hand stores) - & maybe because didn't realize they are noise-canceling & need a battery...

yes!! thank you, the nature of how vital and expressive each show becomes is always fascinating. : ) having a mind that is still developing as we all do can be similar to keeping very large exotic pet whose edges can't be seen, both graciously so and at times with some complication. : ) there are acts of helpful gathering and teaching, releasing, encouraging and mystifying in each one! I've seen him speak before as well. I wonder why he doesn't take it on the road in this Trump era.
  6:31pm Lily:

I saw him speak at Evergreen. I don't remember what he said but he was very emphatic. I really believed whatever it was that jello said, then. I also saw Nirvana around that time.
  6:31pm Martinibomb:

Yeah he's got a whole thing on the Alternative Tentacles called "What would Jello Do" it's awesome. Check it out!
  6:32pm Martinibomb:

on the alt tentacles youtube page I mean

Pet a cat I can do in a half hour
  6:32pm Martinibomb:

@Lily must have been the same tour I saw
  6:33pm Lily:

I find most people easy to believe, at least for half an hour. :)
  6:33pm Martinibomb:

1993 maybe?
Avatar 6:33pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

How long does it take to stop believing someone
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:34pm chresti:

A half hour symphony
  6:35pm Martinibomb:

I start with not believing and let them convince me.. so I take the opposite approach
Avatar 6:35pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

How long does it take to fall in love, does believing happen before or after, which one stops first
  6:36pm Martinibomb:

I bet Dennis Hopper knows.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:37pm chresti:

I aim for 20 minutes.
Avatar 6:37pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

.38 Special, Lou Reed, Mogwai
Avatar 6:38pm TDK60:

I could take Jello out for coffee for half an hour.
  6:39pm Lily:

I don't remember years, I apologize, it could have been 1993 mb. I don't know how long it takes to stop believing, I guess some people I never stop believing? I am not sure that this is a time dependent activity, belief. I do know that this happens a lot during the end of this show, a countdown happens.

Love, I guess is all over the map. It's instant, forever, and many places in between. The weirdest is when it re-emerges regularly, without warning.
Avatar 6:39pm Carmichael:

Ha ha, on tour with a band about 10 years ago, and the guitarist played Hold On Loosely for every single song during sound check.
Avatar 6:40pm Carmichael:

Journey says don't stop believing. I don't believe them.
  6:41pm Lily:

well Journey can hope, can't they?
Avatar 6:41pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Countdown to don't stop believing
Avatar 6:41pm TDK60:

ShaLaLa man.
Avatar 6:46pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Hard to remember but I am pretty sure there was some kind of to-do going on in the station during this which is why I got stuck on one loop
Avatar 6:49pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

I want you forever
Avatar 6:50pm TDK60:

I am a big fan of Lou's Street Hassle; what a great bass riff.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:51pm chresti:

Makes a great loop. I always laugh when he starts talking fast
