Any Debussy today, Mr. D?
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 4:04pm David D:

Hello βrian, no particular plans for Debussy. Always a possibility, though...
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 4:07pm Sem:

This is fascinating - I've been to the DDR .. and Czechoslovakia. Never Yugoslavia, but I do have some Dinars!
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 4:08pm David D:

Good evening, Sem, NGH, Henry...
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 4:09pm βrian:

I can't help but associate the Sea of Tranquility with Richard Nixon.
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 4:14pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Hello David et al. This is wonderful. I have a cassette of the Oyster Band from way back.
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 4:16pm David D:

Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 4:22pm northguineahills:

I've been in the former DDR to the NE at some former manor (now park) about 30 km from Berlin. (the furthest east I've been if you don't include Asia).
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 4:25pm northguineahills:

NYC has had apt concerts for as long as I could remember.
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 4:26pm David D:

It is quite a different experience than large venues and arenas of course as well.
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 4:27pm northguineahills:

Outside of a handful of venues, I prefer performing in domiciles and galleries.
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 4:37pm northguineahills:

Don't forget Africa and a few skirmishes in China (tsingdao was a german port) and naval battles off South America.
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 4:43pm David D:

Lost of commemorations happening this year for the WWI centennial - could be more, though.

Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 4:55pm Listening Out There:

"Mostly" is better than "Not enough," IMO... :)

Thanks Ray!
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 5:04pm Brian in UK:

Hello David and listeners.

The Butlers sound like the Shadows.
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 5:07pm David D:

Hello Brian! The Butlers were actually a Leipzig-based "beat band" before they were all banned in 1965.
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 6:02pm Doug Schulkind:

Greetings, David and all Sub(way) Woofers!
  Tue. 9/18/18 6:05pm Dean:

Ahoy there Doug and Dean!
  Tue. 9/18/18 6:12pm Dean:

A maritime theme pervades the station today. When I chimed in on Tony Coulter's show earlier today, his reply was, "Ahoy!"
Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 6:13pm David D:

Avatar Tue. 9/18/18 6:30pm David D:

Yes - I can imagine it is quite a challenge for the musicians, though.

Geez, a Japanese Supertramp
