Hey folks, once again, keep in mind WFMU is on its way to Jersey City,
with our highly anticipated move happening at the end of August. We'll miss the area, but hey, Christina Ricci took some interviewer to her hometown (Montclair) and was reported blasting K-ROCK the whole way so maybe we won't be missed. Live music the past couple of weeks on the airwaves: John Fahey, the Plastic People of the Universe, Pernice Brothers, Moonlighters, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, Scissor Girls, the Drennons, Wizz Jones, Sportsguitar, Cathal Coughlan, five-year-old drummer/improvisor Sammy Wall, guest spinning from the Desco label crew, a phone-in from Larry of the Sonics, Arthur Alexander biographer Richard Younger. Our last-ever live band performing in the infamous Moose Room next week will be Tono Bungay. | ||
