Welcome SKYWAVE, three young lads from somewhere between Washington DC and Virginia with an inordinate amount of love for the hazy shoe-gazey Brit-psyche of the late 1980s & early '90s. Marrying the swirling guitars & pounding drums of My Bloody Valentine, Jesus & Mary Chain and Slowdive to the impossibly infectious melodies of classic '60s bubblegum, SKYWAVE produce a sound that is at once both cathartic and desperately hummable! Armed with nothing more than a floor full of stomp-boxes and a 300-mile car-ride's worth of pent-up energy, SKYWAVE has lovingly torn WFMU's 4th floor Love Room to bits. Here's how they done it:
