| This 5 record set was something I saw many years ago as I was beginning to take seriously this area of collecting. I had always thought of flexis as cheap and unwanted, but when I saw a dealer selling this set for real money (that I could not afford) I knew there was a larger community of these collectors who were well on their way before me. A great set that was sold right after W.W.II as a testament to the President that led us through it. The Shellac-ish coating on these records has usually crackled over time but this set, it is in rather nice condition. It is most unusual to have the envelope that the set was sold in. I wish I could still find them for $1.97! Medium cardboard records on both sides on shellac coating. 78 rpm, 1945. |
