Irwin celebrates Moondog's 99th birthday with biographer Robert Scott - May 27 Moondog was blind, dressed in ancient Viking regalia, slept on 6th Avenue in New York during the 1950s, and happened to be a musical genius. Biographer Robert Scotto visits Irwin's program to pay tribute to the majestic Moondog on Wed May 27 (3-6pm) in honor of the late musician's 99th birthday.
